Wittner ultralight tailpieces are made of stable composite material. This material is very strong but does not add unnecessary weight to the instrument. It incorporates 4 string adjusters/fine tuners into the tailpiece and combines classic design with sophisticated material technology. Comes complete with the Wittner non-slip nylon endgut.

The Hill Model tailpiece in either the french or english design made from either ebony or boxwood, significantly raises the tone of instruments. The tailpiece absorbs less energy from the strings and maximises the energy that passes through the bridge in order to project an instruments sound. The sound is more focused and brilliant without being harsh or strident. This tailpieces comes with a fine tuner on the E-string only.
